Tammy and I LOVE that beach...a miraculous place on earth.I have always given that my wife is smarter than I am...and things are much quieter in our home given my position on that subject...and it sounds as if you may have found the same secret in your union as well :)It is wonderful to have a partner that shares in your hopes and dreams...it will 25 years of marriage for Tammy and me this November...and as I always tell her...its been the shortest 40 years of my life...lol.Your goal plan makes a lot of sense and we will put that on paper asap.

However, just because he has great things to say about business I'm not taking marriage advice from his stuff or spiritual direction.  

He has 3 adults in his marriage rather than just the 2 of them. 

I don't think people who have broken marriages and lost their family because they put their job first are happy.

You are the property manager, maintenance guy, appliance repair person, marriage counselor, cleaning person, rent collector, salesman, advertising manager, internet and cable tech, website manager, electrician, lumberjack, garbage collector, city liaison, chauffer, check cashing office, bartender, job referrer and finally a pre-employment drug screen collector.

Will this setup cause any trouble with us maintaining our 'share it all' approach to our marriage in regards to the LLC's assets? 

But a partnership is just like a marriage, so you need to tread cautiously and document all agreements in writing.
