Will the area demand a higher rent if your apartment is improved to those standards or will you over do it on the upgrade and not be able to get what your apt should go for due to the area.

Returns demanded by investors are much higher for assisted living than for apartments as the loss from default is much higher.  

@Shiwei Qu- thanks ...there are many great opportunities  in OH  due to the price ranges and demand froms renters ....its best to try to have some representation  or  assisztance  in whatever areas that you buy in  ( relator / property manager / insurance agent / contractors etc ..) 

Demand is indeed lower outside of the city like in Hazel Green2.

it looks like a hopless situation for me.I had all of my life savings put in Yucca Vally short term rentals In  early 2022. got 4 nice villas at 20% equity. then 2 things happened: rates went up and demand for vacation rentals in that location went WAY down.
