I think it was Warren Buffet (or Albert Einstein or Mark Twain, all clever things seem to be attributed to one of those three) who said something along the lines of, "The stock market is the only market where buyers want to buy more when things are more expensive and avoid buying when things are on sale".

Essentially they will either wash the laundry for you if you have laundry in the unit or they will take it home , inventory, wash, and fold it for you.For each one of our Airbnb's we have a minimum of 2 full sets of turnover supplies (linens, towels, etc). 2 sets for MTR, 3 sets for STR.2.

As long as you are in a decent neighborhood, you can certainly get this kind of rent if you set up a nice comfy place with tasteful, modern furniture; wifi; a big TV; nice linens & towels; great coffee, etc.

With an AirBnB/VRBO you would also need to fully furnish the property, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, bathroom and bedroom linens, all the small things. 

The value of money is carefully and cleverly hidden from them via credit.

Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping.

I thought that this was a pretty clever move on the part of the broker.
