I most certainly let them know that I don't really make any money until I sell the property and thus is my assurance that the property will be paid for on time, every time, I'm an investor, not a charity organization :) but, like you said, they know I'm an investor and that actually works in my favor because they know their chances of me actually making the payments are increased significantly over someone off the streets.
