Promoting the “spend as little as possible now and just deliver what they need” model is a money waster.

If you're not bringing the financial piece of it, you can always promote other skills/services you have that can be beneficial to the partnership.

Hi,What would be the best way to promote a new possible deal to investors if I am strictly trying to raise capital.

I have a very technical background but haven't had a need to do anything like this for years and am looking for recommendations on a model to use to promote interest and a website host that is cost effective and easy to use. 

My first "intentional" investment deal was a property that some one at our local REI club was promoting.

I don't understand my BP promotes this so much.  

And please NEVER hire one who is self promoted.

I'm not affiliated with them but have no problem promoting.  

We just put it under promotions and treat it as a business expense ... lots of times, as in the case of our move-in gift basket, we will get other small businesses in the neighbourhood to contribute a coupon to the gift.

Look for opportunities to serve them or work on the side for them.Lastly grind it out in your W2, get overtime if you can, work on getting promoted, do the best job you can especially if it is paying well.
