Time is a factor (I work full-time) and it's a little too risky of a move for me to consider at this time in my life.

I tried to mention you when I first created the post but couldn't figure it out.You wouldn't think that california would allow something like these because of all their regulations but there is a company not too far from you that is building them - RSI Homes out of Newport Beach.From what I understand they build them start to finish but there are other companies out there who provide framing and trusses jig built in a factory.

Are there many different large/sizable employers, or does one very large company/factory employ a very large number of the residents?

(smerk)(When I purchased my fathers 8 unit apartment complex in the 80's  (18 years old)we didn't have all these codes and laws) (smiling)The Investor that I talked with said he purchased a sewing factory building which sat for 6 years empty and the county considered it non commercial  so he was able to pick it up cheaper , Or maybe he's giving me a line of bull to purchase mine cheaper!

What happens when a major event occurs, factory shuts down, migration, local laws change, and so on.  

Probably because they wanted to hide the fact that they were using the unit as a puppy factory.  

Besides the the ones who own the factories or natural resources, many who have made fortunes have been the people who "sold shovels to gold miners".

Unless the registration fee  Is a factor, I suggest you participate in the auction, even if only to a very small degree.

We met a guy at the Detroit auto show on Sunday who is a manger at the Jeep factory in Toledo who said the same thing about that area. 

The world needs garbage collectors and construction workers and factory workers and nobody ever says thats their passion.
