An inexpensive home can be safe and secure, it may need paint, carpeting might be worn but there is no excuse in owning a fire hazard or an unhealthy environment and preying on the poorer of those in any community. :)

The problem with blasting noise and creating other problems for the tenant, is it can be *easily* argued in front of a judge, that an unsafe and unhealthy environment was created by the owner for the tenant and that opens a whole 'nother package of problems and significantly increases the lawsuit dollar amount.

I'll look into that area.I also have to disagree on one thing--Exit 253 in Schererville has the biggest selection of restaurants in a one-mile stretch I have ever seen :) Living in Chicago but growing up in Fort Wayne, sometimes I miss all those unhealthy chain restaurants I used to think nothing of.
