We use Avail.co to do the background checks, prepare and store leases, and to offer the required renter's insurance policy.Stessa.com does a good enough job acting as a free substitute for Quickbooks.AirBnB and Furnishedfinder.com for listing the space (though I will be trying MiniStays soon).

Bifurcating the asset and operation, putting the wealth behind an "iron curtain" and arranging the public facing side of things in a manner where it is a conveyor belt of throw-away entities with little to no value stored themself, IS a viable approach.

The section continues, “… Bed and Breakfast establishments, boarding homes, dormitories or multiple units, or any other similar lodging arrangements are specifically prohibited.”Section 3 – Commercial Use – states, “…no part of a Lot or Dwelling shall be used or caused to be used or allowed or authorized in any way, directly or indirectly, for any business, commercial, manufacturing, mercantile, storing, vending, or other such nonresidential purposes…”.

Maybe sign your own lease (from Wisconsin Legal Blank, store in Milwaukee or order online) but keep it MTM.Also, a little brokerage 101: when you ask for something in an offer, always make sure it is specific, with a deadline and includes consequences.
