Anywhere that has consistent or slightly growing population and a decent job supply may be a good fit.

I believe if people make money and there is sufficient housing supply, housing will become affordable. 

Recent zoning changes now allow for three dwellings on a single parcel, and parking requirements have been lifted in denser areas, both of which have boosted the local housing supply.
