I've seen MLS listings where the work looks shoddy, or aesthetically the design is just a disaster (e.g. everything must've been on closeout, so who cares that it doesn't match or coordinate in any way).

Tile surrounds rarely have to be replaced if just dirty, bathroom tile and fixtures clean very well unless abused, its usually an aesthetic choice.
