I consider NYC itself to be an insane investment to begin with (though my dream is one day to develop property in Manhattan) but I'm willing to look at anywhere else in NY.

I have had internships as a construction project engineer in Manhattan working on luxury hotels and in Newark, DE working on a dormitory. 

I live in such a "expensive" market,  Westchester county, NY (1/2 hr north of Manhattan).   

Jay Sahni at JSS Law in Manhattan is very good, whether for a closing or a tough eviction.

Tree issues, mold etc likely present at the time pf purchase, so if you didn't do inspections on these properties make sure you do them on the next ones so you'll know what you've got in store in the near future.The tenants are complaining.

13k per month, the owner of the lease wants 200k to walk away. for those who know the upper west side of Manhattan is a great location!!
