The place smelled like smoke and had a sticky nicotine touch to the walls and ceilings. 

So if there is a threatening wildfire in the area, that company will come out to the house and assess the risk, clear brush away if necessary, or apply fire retardant gel to the house.

Had to wash the walls and ceilings down (the recommendation is with TSP); nicotine was just running down the walls. 

And btw, there is a product available online called "Thrift"-Its basically a lot more potent and powerful at removing grease from lines than even Drano Max Gel often cited as the best uncloger on the market.

Nicotine is an oil that clings to surfaces - check out a smokers windshield.

If you use gel or foam mattresses, get solid steel platforms.
