The main problem in Pittsburgh is that we have very few 1 level houses without 15+ steps up a hill that would actually be suited for the projects, mostly because the properties that would be well suited are too expensive to merit the rehab expense (unfortunate that our population is old and our housing isn't suited for them). 

Look at the realtor.com article just came out on small cities poised to be big, Knoxville,(i am in suburb of knox) made the list so it must have some merit:)https://www.realtor.com/news/trends/small-cities-could-become-next-powerhouses/

Some are definitely appear more plausible than others, and I am definitely going to consider each one in relation to the merits and my situation.

However I fail to see how this is true at the scale at which I would be capable of buying...in my price range the properties would not be large enough to merit their own on-site Management, unless maybe I just bought one and bet my entire future on it.

(in this market people are paying way more than they should for primary homes so there is some merit to the list price)

Plus LLC is not going to protect you from any lawsuits that have merit.. and unless your have massive equity in your properties your not going to get sued to start with.

Ultimately they dismissed the case as being "completely without merit."

Finally,  you could go the VBRO or AirBnB route, which as sone merits and seems to dovetail in nicely with what you are doing. 

And this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do the deal or that the returns don’t merit investment.

I did some research online and found out about this meeting tomorrow in Standish but I haven’t heard of anything on here about it. Is there anyone here attending or know about it? Just want to confirm before I show up.
