Take a look at MAS 90, it's a module professional accounting package, you'd need the basic and the RE stuff, it's been around awhile, I ran a mortgage company with the full package.

Hey @Delicia M. - as others have mentioned, you could hypothetically try to go after the full $50k if it was meant as earnest money deposit but even then the legal chase might not be worth it.
