This is not a jab at you , but the reason peoples attention span is so short is because they are multi - multi - tasking instead of concentrating on just a few key areas of their lives  (jack of all & master of none)   Thanks again Brian & Ken !!!  

Also expect that lenders can have restrictions based on the condo project (conversion vs. purpose built, number of rentals vs. owner occupied units are two key areas to check).John Corey

I think this is a way you really can get into a deal if you are lacking on any key area.

Personally I'm leaning towards the one that is a bit further away from key areas as of now. 

Investing actively needs to be mindfully assessed against balance in the other key areas of life.

BTW, the retired former Long Beach probate judge was a guest speaker at my  2011 seminar, Probate Secrets Unlocked, as was my friend (and competitor) JB, as well as a key area probate attorney.I know there was a guy running around SoCal promoting that he put probate short sales together.

I'm not sure about the Sarasota or Siesta Key area, but in the Indian Shores area, there are many listings, but hard to find a reasonably priced property where STRs are permitted.

Then you can put all of your time and attention in acquiring off-market deals in those key areas while you're getting started.
