Maturing as an adult, making invaluable connections, internships at strategic locations, etc.  

Hi everyone, I'm new to Bigger Pockets, and I have a few questions that I'd be quite interested in getting some opinions on.For a little bit of context before I get started, I'm a college student in Louisville, KY with an internship that pays me quite well, so I'll actually have a significant amount of money saved and invested in index funds by the time I graduate. 

Seems it is a priority for my generation to save a little on rent while also making connections and having a sense of community (especially if you are moving to a new area).I also just finished up an internship in multifamily real estate and came across a few coliving apartments.

Have you thought about looking for an internship/contract with a someone who might directly use your project for their business? 

I will graduate in May with no debt, a Computer Science degree, and a ~$70k/yr offer from a company I worked for as a school-required internship. 

I would recommend you start looking for an internship while you are in High School.

My internship would pay for it for me.

Does anyone know any interior designers that would take on a rookie? I have been teaching myself sketchup and photoshop

what are you looking to do in the internship? 

I am a junior at UNC - Chapel Hill and with the onset of the summer season comes the race to find an internship.
