It's basically a simple ideology of, the better the area the more it cost which typically = less cash flow.

But I realize that I HOPE that it might be, because I have that whole lingering, American-dream ideology and want to believe that a working family can buy and keep a decent house in a decent neighborhood (ideally on a single income, but that's a whole other discussion.)

A friend of a friend cannot believe that their current businesses will lose their Business Interest Deduction and can only offset it by buying another business.But that's what it seems like is the case.Maybe someone with better understanding of Taxes, especially with the Republican ideology in terms of Tax Reform can comment here.Investor Llew

As when wolves are allowed to guard the hen house, it seems irresponsible to commit over $4,000 per taxpayer to an exiting administration possessing the same deregulatory principles that played a major role in the creation and neglect of the current economic crisis.The Treasury Secretary’s deregulatory ideology was overwhelming, and therefore diluted when the details of the $700 billion were expanded from a 3-page proposal to over 450 pages of implementation regulation.

They had some ideological goals and that suited them.I know we rent out a house in which we replaced an old boiler and air conditioner and cut energy use by about half and the biggest results we've got to show for it are much lower maintenance bills from the new equipment and stable renters that turn over infrequently.

I understand the principal of the tenants being responsible to "bring me the rent." and agree in an ideological sense, but from a practical stand point I need to get the rent out of their hands before they spend it, so I need to make it easy for them.  

Just wondering what your ideology is behind that. 

So essentially that's the ideology here.

Further, it seems like states like to follow suit with other states, just like the short term rental regulations, so I won't be surprised is these ideologies move state to state too.. 

However; we lost much of our freedoms already due to elitism, statism, and other wicked  ideologies.
