There are likely attorney's who solicit this as a function of their business but that doesn't make them any better or worse than what you could do to strike a deal on your own.

There will most likely be other cryptos that serve other functions but I would be very surprised to see anyone take this over from bitcoin (not is anyone else really contending).

I guess for me the dividing line is does it damage the function or cause a safety hazard if I leave it on the tenant.  

Once you have a shortlist, sign up for an account with each one and test them extensively to see how they function.

Apart from ACH, which is free vs. a fee on other platforms, the software also keeps track of property analytics and can create a statement of cash flows (NOI/Net Income views also available) and has export functions to give your CPA come tax time.

Along the same lines, the buyer who can barely qualify for the entry level SFH is acutely aware of their cash shortage and therefore are going to be less accepting of household features near the end of their useful life, even if still functional and have a stronger desire for anything that is listed as a deficiency on the inspection report to be corrected. 

Ironically, platforms designed for real estate (Zillow, Apartments.com, Rentler, etc.) produce very few tenants for me, compared to FB Marketplace (and I also find a lot of their functionality to be user un-friendly, from the landlord side). ...you'd think that platforms custom-made for real estate would make the process a snap for landlords, but it takes me a lot longer to post and manage rental listings on Zillow or Rentler than it did on Craigslist.

They also offer a small business plan if you need additional functionality for rentals.
