Ask yourself if you want to mix $$ and your friendship and then refer to the adage: "Friends and Money: Oil and Water".

I wonder if friendship creates issues in the long run.  

I left two years ago and other than the people and my friendships there are very few things that I miss about it. 

I built friendships with property managers and asked them to send me anybody needing to exit houses.Then I would look on the MLS for any homes that had been listed for way longer than normal sales timeframes and contact the agents to see why they hadn't sold and whether anything could be done to get them bought.

Generally, mentors come in the form of friendships. 

This is always the danger in mixing your investments with your friendships. 

Although this was not "a friend", per se, it ended up kind of being a friendship, which I am certain contributed to the difficulty in making the change. 

But friendship aside and speak about business. 50/50 would give some problems can't all be Chiefs some one has to be Indians at times.
