They are simply paying more than you want to pay.If you plan is LTR you are at a disadvantage, everyone else can pay more than you.

Disadvantages is the possibility of corrupting the file so make sure you backup (external) your files regularly, and if you are planning to use remote bookkeeper, it's more difficult to provide access or transfer files. 

There are stigmas about lots of things and life is imperfect and unfair so sometimes those stigmas may result in being unfairly disadvantaged.
