Hello all,My fiance and I recently moved to the Bay Area and are currently under contract for our first primary home together.My real estate experience is relatively low with a single LTR under my belt and looking for ways to grow.

Don't tell me you bought south of the belt(40) in that 27610 trash area?

I'm sorry for all of the questions...times are hard now and I really want to get one under my belt.

I would first get deals under your belt before going up.

Reminder too that once you get more properties under your belt and begin having a bigger real estate investor portfolio your file begins to get more complicated and even a simply loan like DSCR sometimes may ask to prove other items.

I have another client in a rust belt city that goes for 2 to 4 units and same thing he will sell if he can but if they dont sell during rehab he keeps them.. so bought 60% of his deals he keeps and the rest are sold.

I am a building contract of decades, I have trained inspect dept's, journey in 3 trades, and over $200m in flips under the belt, mostly to pre '78' homes. 

If you don’t have any serious volume of closed business under your belt or if you are trying to get me to join EXP or KW please do not bother.

Solar will be a massive pain in the *** if you are doing this in the SE belt.
