The house is manufactured, my lender thinks she may be able to finance them, which would alleviate all of this and would be my preference.

In bigger cities even though the prices are higher you also have a higher chance of finding tenants to alleviate the higher mortgage payments.

Then they got rid of the contractors (they didn't have to pay the unemployment taxes to the state when they got rid of us), and finally, they had to cut into their own muscle when things got really bad.

This will alleviate the stress that a foreclosure will put on your credit score.  

Or if commercial is overbuilt and Amazon is flexing it's muscle then sell commercial and buy residential.
