Could you share you experience with resurfacing kitchen countertops for rental properties?

She sees on "Flip this house" somebody paint a vanity then have the top resurfaced with a cheesy speckaled finish.

He re-surfaced with new programs, stocks, multiple income streams etc.

I do understand that Im responsible for some charges like paint and carpet but they are trying to charge me for lots of other misc items like: 2nd coat of paint, gas range (which still is working but its old), dishwasher (which I never use), kitchen cabinets and kitchen countertop resurface ??
