If I was buying south or southwest of Asheville right now I might be trying to get very close to one of our great new downhill mountain bike parks, meaning Ride Kanuga in Hendersonville or Ride Rock Creek in Zirconia.

Most people who complain about Airdna overestimating their revenue think you can just list your house on Airbnb and profits will pour in (South Park understood this fallacy best).

Hey fellow suburban Illinois BPers - Not sure if this has been sent/shared previously, but thought it'd be good to recap - Chicago Agent Magazine recently reported that suburban Chicago was ranked the second-hottest rental market in the nation (Here’s the article.).This confirms what a lot of us have seen: demand for rentals is really strong in the suburbs right now.

It's hard to find a "perfect" market that is knocking it out of the park on all these parameters. 

This month's Units magazine from the National Apartment Association has a good piece on fraud detection.

Amenities include, laundry, assigned parking, and wifi available for each unit.

There have definitely been some upgrades in the park itself and there were some new restaurants/hotels and they did try to make the streets nicer. 

This seems to be breaking down new construction and is a national average so kind of hard to read into this what it means in general but I would not expect a 665k new construction house to be my target for a rental property.
