Lawn and plants are overgrown and looks unkept.He is divorced (house may be in both names).The owner is nearly in foreclosure.May be unpaid taxes.When my brother asks him if he wants to sell he says, "not interested."

Soil conditions, depth of the line, how long is the sewer to be replaced, will they be replacing your landscaping and planting grass afterwards, the list goes on.One other note, here in Cleveland if the blockage is on the downstream side of the clean-out in your yard it is the county's responsibilty to snake the sewer out (free of charge, well, you pay in for it in your city taxes but you get what I mean).
