If you want to twist the knife you might consider deducting a late rent charge for unpaid rent they owe since they technically didn't pay any rent when it was scheduled to do so.

I also have encountered plumbing that somehow ended up with wiring wrapped around the pipes (partly caused by the wiring not being stapled or otherwise secured, and with enough slack that the pipe can get twisted with it).The refinishing of hardwoods is also really dusty as pointed out above.

How about if I just return my MBA and give back all the money that a couple Fortune 50 paid me for 10 years to handle parts of their M&A...but be gentle, some extremely smart business-people are going to feel pretty stupid when you point out to them how much of a fraud I am

As for laws, it's completely twisted in favor of the landlord here- you can have a deadbeat on the street in about 15 days if you follow the law.
