You want to make sure that your property type and location is suited to the type of travelers coming to your area so that you market it appropriately, price it appropriately and can be competitive. 

The less competition, the better.

By having agents supporting agents in their success, it creates more collaboration and less competitiveness among agents.  

If you are being stationed together over this time, keep doing temp or base housing while you are there and when you really like a market, get to know it more so you have a competitive advantage.

If you've never set one up, don't know the competition, or don't have the capital to absorb the vacancy it will be a tough strategy.
