While I have seen deed restrictions that prohibited types of commercial [properties, types of residential properties, raising buffalo, and prohibiting sheep from grazing, I’ve never seen a prohibition against STR.so that leaves properties that are part of an HOA.

Who can afford to pay those high rents especially that many people are leaving , but houses aren't, so vacancy rates are increasing.There is a lot to consider and I'm trying to get a feel of the place before I go there to see it for myself.What do you think about Western NY property markets ( Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo) as these are also heavily marketed to overseas investors?.
