We live in a lake community and would LOVE to get a house that is lake front.

We have members coming from Bay City, Lake Michigan cities, Warren, Monroe...even Hawaii.  685 members and growing every day.

I will be spending my 4th is Lake Martin in Alabama.  

Central FL is Orlando, including suburbs like Lake Mary, Oviedo, Winter Springs, Altamonte Springs, Maitland, Longwood, etc.

The 2nd project I have going in the area is building a 3/3 home near Lake Lure.

I assume you will buy a lake house nearby?

I do wish we had kept those properties largely for sentimental reasons, but our return from the local market was better in every way.I will say our OOS properties were not primarily cheap properties (2 units were on the beach in Gulf Shores Alabama and one on a lake). 

I'm looking to refine how I'm managing my STR in Lake Arrowhead, and I feel like I'm looking for the holy grail - namely, a reliable, efficient team of partners I can rely on (cleaner, handyman, snow clearing, and general "can't open the door" assistance).

There’s often a Black Swan unknown risk with these cases.
