I'd also just do a month to month so you can get them out if the dogs are being destructive, maybe visit every 2 weeks for the first 2 months or so to make sure the dogs are being good.If her house isn't completely through the foreclosure process yet and she still has access to it maybe see if you can go to her house to look at the condition of the property with respect to the dogs living there.
