I personally prefer to pull the nails all the way through, out the underside of the wood, to prevent splitting.

It seems the lender named in that trust went out of business in 2008 so there is nobody to get a release from; the trust was never assigned; and either there is no successor bank handling the lender's loans now or the successor bank has no record of this loan.Does this prevent the property from being sold, refinanced, etc?

I have also found out that the owner of this company has all the asset managers for the banks on "speed dial" which is preventing everyone else from gaining access to these properties.

An individual was the winning bidder and they also paid the back taxes to prevent a tax foreclosure.
