I would be very interested in talking to you about where you are currently in the real estate game in Nova Scotia as I am 25 years old and trying to pursue a lot of the same goals.

Before getting into real estate, I dabbled in Information Technology where the concept of open source software runs strong.

I have a mentor in the game that is very successful as a yay or nay resource.

However I would not consider them to be truly passive because they do not put any skin into the game like a good passive investment does (via a sizable coinvestment).

When rental demand dips they suffer with placing tenants or forced to play a game with who can charge the least in the area.

Software is very personal.

What I mean by this is the entire game of REI has now vaulted into the top 10-20% of W2 folks, but really the top 5% mainly the top 1-3%.
