A lot of it went to traveling, since it has been a big part of my life, from camping out of the bed of a truck, to my inherited VW vanagon, to my now truck with a pop up camper.

I think a lot of people don't want to look around or load trucks in Dec/Jan. 

I can't see how you would qualify for food-stamps if you have 7-10% available cash for a downpayment.  

We are financial sponsors of the project and visit it every time we are in the area.Flying around it in a helicopter by itself would give good perspective of the size but when I flew around it there was a large crane and dump truck on the arm. 

Their work had them driving trucks for fedex or a similar company and so they were only home for 1-2 weeks of the month.

Just filled our truck tank for $1.79 a gallon.
