When I did section 8 and had similar issues, we would buy a $15 floor lamp from Walmart and have installed prior to section 8 inspection. 

It ended up costing us $50,000 in additional expenses across 25 windows because once we changed the windows, we had to bring the framing around the windows up to 2023 code - which required removing the already installed windows and reframing each window down to how the studs were strapped with metal straps down at the floor.  

It may be a gas furnace that has a flame in the basement and that heat eventually rises through the ducts to the 2nd floor.

LIKE in SC the thought of not having a 3% BAC just about floors the agents there.and listing less than 6% same..

Yea I have spent many yrs in analysis paralysis looking for that right brrr 70 cents on the dollar etc and just decided to go brand new on my own raw dirt and build a floor plan that I like.

As for the permanent upgrades, can the LLC cover and write off items that are considered a repair or upgrade, like painting and flooring, or new AC or hot tub?  

I also plan on moving the master bedroom (currently upstairs) to the other ground floor bedroom, and making the upstairs bedroom a "guest room."
