The only other thing I would throw out there (and please correct me if I'm wrong on this, as I don't claim to be an expert in this area) is that researching a bit more it seems that in CA you may now need a CA RE Brokers license (OR RE salesperson license) WITH a MLO endorsement, which seems to be an extra test and training hours:http://www.dre.ca.gov/files/pdf/re19.pdfNot sure of requirements for other states, and apologies if this is off topic a bit.
