As I'm currently an active duty service member in the Air Force, I was considering using a VA Loan and was also wondering if anyone knew of any lenders in the area that offered VA Rehab loans.

Tax rolls have it at 1600 sq ft, if the enclosed porch makes up the difference, be careful as it needs to have heating/air pumped to it and be done well to be considered as true additional square footage.

@Maurice George I was looking at Enid due to the Air Force base and flight school being located there.  

It will take you 270 (75% occupancy) nights of air bnb to break even on piti alone before expenses of rental. 

I knew somebody had already attended to it because there was a huge dehumidifier and an air blower plugged in that did not belong to me.

IF so take an air compressor and blow the line out. 

Get a nice air mattresses or two for the common areas to increase your maximum occupancy.

I have an Eskimo buddy in northern Alaska (Kaktovik) who tried to scare a polar bear away with a couple of rounds from his .45 shot into the air. 

I'm thinking of just letting the HVAC go until both the heat pump and air handler (circa 1983) need to be replaced and renting the unit as-is.
