I may have opportunity to go part time consulting where I would make more per hour and the salary would be a wash.

To some extent, the market didn't wash out all of the lesser experienced/less qualified agents and low level contractors like other markets that tanked, so I would say simply be prudent.

Right now I'm scraping by working at a car wash for minimum wage.

With the Family Car, you fill it up yourself, probably wash it, change the oil, change the wiper blades, and pay a mechanic for the more complicated repairs. 

I would replace the bad siding then pressure wash and paint.

People that have service businesses; restaurants, car washes, dry cleaners, IT companies, contractors, health care practices, real estate brokerages, real estate developers, law firms, etc.

Shingles look brittle, curling, split and the granules  have washed away, it’s worn out.

While on demand are super hot, they don't actually save enough over NG to justify the switch, and they have higher lifetime costs, so it comes out in the wash. 

One thing to point out (at least based in Los Angeles county) is that if you permitted the work (guessing you didn’t), that would have caused a increase in taxes, so depending on the amount and type or work it may be a wash.

Driveway, walkway, maybe power wash the exterior?
