John -That's why i qualified my remarks that your second paragraph was spot on.

I saw that earlier and thought it was pretty remarkable.

Many of my co-workers remark how it 'must be nice' to own rental properties and my restaurant franchise and they wish they were as 'lucky'...then when I try to talk to them about investing, personal finance, and hustling to build multiple streams of income they just comment "Yeah right I don't have time for that"...I've given several of them copies of 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' and offered to take a few driving for dollars on the weekend and have invited all of them to the meetup I host - NONE have taken me up on it...but then they post pictures on Facebook of them brewery-hopping all weekend and hanging at the pool!  

Wasn't sure what impact, if any, it might have on this strategy, or if any new light has come to this.I close on a property this month, and remembered reading the remark about the "2 kitchens rule" awhile back.

I'd highly suggest you read the rest of that post along with my remark.

A friend just remarked to me that a friend of ours had just gone out and bought a new car without telling his wife.

Add that into your ROI equation and you will see some remarkable returns.

I won't give my input on your remarks on "who's fault" anything is as there are many threads debating that exact topic.
