For tax purposes income from the rentals would be treated as rental income which is again not subject to the $10k limit.

Don’t be afraid to fail and if you do treat it as an education! 

Very few people on bigger pockets own enough properties to treat them like commodities. 

Treat it like any other inspection issue.

You can elect to treat certain qualified real property placed in service during the tax year as section 179 property.

Hi Amy,  I'm in the exact same position with 2 different properties and I'm treating them in 2 different ways.I have a townhome in Chandler that I bought in 2009 for 75K, it's worth 160K-170K now. 

Otherwise, non-medical HSA distributions are treated like Traditional IRA distributions in that they are taxed at the earned income rate.I'm not a tax specialist.
