Most sources should tell you if it's open or closed/paid. 

I haven't drove through that area in about 10 years but I remember we closed all windows and locked everything up when we did.

Talked to my closing attorney and he’s on it. 

I’m understanding the logic behind not having a certain sense of security and that the borrower (the GC) should reach out to those close to him. it’s exactly that, though.

I would be cutting it pretty close.

Our biggest climate risks in central Texas are typically wind and hail, so anything of concern regarding the roof could get an applicant declined including trees too close to the roof surface, roof over 10 years old, etc.
