That dollar amount is based on specific needs/uses for those dollars, at that specific date".You plan should be based on "reverse engineering " from those goals (financial goals), backwards, defining each prerequisite along the way (also financial, but including strategies to be used, etc...), and developing a list of specific needs, which are based on your needs to fulfill each of the prerequisites (mini goals).

Once you have the land you can find a General Contractor that specializes in ground up single family in your area and get an all inclusive price from them - alternatively you can hire an architect and engineers to develop drawings then bid it out to GCs.

Know the law, obey the law, treat people honestly and fairly.That will protect you far more than any LLC or insurance policy or attorney.these are great commandments to follow.. stuff can happen but so can a dual bird strike causing catastrophic engine failure and a landing in the HUDSON river.
