We live in Northern Florida and manage our 10 long term rentals and do flips in northern Florida and we decided not to go that route with this south Florida home after we started digging into it.  

Would this be a good idea or even possible?

This also leads owners to ASSUME simpler is better when it comes to management contracts.

You can either do this as 2 Schedule E's or one Schedule E: as long as the figures are the same.

This fits my plan for a couple of reasons, I plan to rent one unit long team and as I travel a fair bit for work I'll Airbnb the second unit when I'm overseas.
