A local lender can be helpful since they often understand the market better and may offer more personalized service, but it’s not always necessary if the terms are great.

Another would be when a lender or bank offers you the cash to buy the home and they cross collateralize one or more homes to bridge the gap of equity needed.

@Lolo Druff Real Estate Investing is not like Trading Stocks or Crytocurrency.Real Estate Investing requires some deep thought and research from you as an Investor.Having 400k to deploy to multiple duplexes is a great start but you have some questions to ask and answer yourself.
