Homes with pier and beam foundations where generally built pre-1960, homes with slab foundations overlapping some in the late 1940's and 1950's. 

Laser wash touchless systems give an excellent wash and dry and customers recognize this benefit because it will not damage the paint like many cheaper contact washes may do. 

Nice if you can do it, but not a guarantee.Take lots of pictures of common areas, siding, roof, beams, water heaters and furnaces.

Plus- the guys who did this to you would likely be sent scurrying by even the scantest beam of sunlight. 

@Dustin Beam  It mostly depends on the properties you are looking for, but I would avoid anything east of Washburn Ave/Burlingame Rd. 

Under the cedar shingles were just open beams with some tongue and groove on the perimeter.

In my location a blueprint with no architect stamp just means that I have to follow the prescriptive building code with respect to window area, insulation, framing connections, etc. and that I need separate engineering for the trusses and beams.

Have to drop a beam on your head to get that high

Renting wise I love that it has two bathrooms, I love that has decent size rooms and I beam floor joists.
