Would it be acceptable to scan applications that I need to save/store and destroy the hard copies?

As I said above, your not going to find agents selling properties for free, no bodys.

By the way, I suggest you scan the leases and keep copies on file along with two sets of keys (one you can mail to a new manager and one for yourself).
