Without insulation you're going to get some bleed-through of heat transfer, but unless the paint is blistering off the drywall ceiling it's not as big as you think. 

The stain will bleed through water-based primer and oil-based is the only kind that will adhere to the polyurethane that was probably used on the cabinets.  

One even had a 2" gash down the back of his leg that was bleeding.

By the time you factor in vacancy (~5%) in my hood and maintenance (~15%) you're bleeding pretty good ....

I'm not convinced you got a bad deal on the property itself unless you overpaid for it and are bleeding because of the loan you took to pay it or because the taxes are super high.

Ironically I am no bleeding heart liberal in business or finance, but socially I am pretty lefty, I admit. 

Even though the market is hot hear most of these builders are in other states where it's not so hot so even thought they are making money here the whole corp might be bleeding.

I think you need to move on and find a seller with a bleeding neck instead of a sore thumb.
