Anyone have info for Houston area?

Because of the city's location and proximity to the Marcellus boom the rental rates continue to rocket up.

I am very interested in the viability of the pocket neighborhood in the NW Houston suburbs. 

I don't know if all counties have it, but here in Houston, we have the Harris County Appraisal District.org online for free and they give you present owner, tax appraisal, taxes, school districts, etc.

Anyone have a recommendation for a good one in houston

I'm looking to get more aggressive on that angle as well.My goal is that by the time my oldest son graduates high school (he's a sophmore this year) - I will have enough passive income to make this a full time career.I would like to network with wholesalers, bird-dogs and other agents in the area.I'm not a member but I've attended several of the Houston area REI club meetings/mixers.I'm very open to any and all advice and/or educational opportunities to move me along.

Looking for other investors in the Houston area.
