It sounds like you’re off to a great start, and I totally get where you’re coming from when deciding between an online bank or sticking with a local one.

If you have lived in the home for a total of two years anytime within the last five years you qualify for the entire $250k tax exemption if filing singly.

You will be getting additional 10% penalty interest for the total amount you invested in.

Just bear in mind...you will probably operate in a grey zone (unless you open a business and get the licenses, which most people don't care to do) and obviously need quite some cash to get started seriously.

Pretty good value for $9 ($27 total for us per month).
