That means we're buying 5 houses/months right now, so it's hectic.Once we reach our target, or out target changes, or our goals evolve, hopefully we'll then ha e all the freedom we ever wanted.That said, I love the business, so I not being 'free' from it is somewhat of a blessing.

A city will naturally evolve over time.

It's amazing to me how people have evolved over time in this business.

Tax laws are constantly changing and evolving, so choosing a specific property type now due to a specific tax law could suddenly no longer work for you if that law changes.

In fact the past 7-10 years have seen an evolving trend in our youth (who have now entered the rental or purchase markets) and many PREFER to live alone as opposed to 10-15 years ago when the preference may have skewed towards renting a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment and splitting rent with roommates.With the various 1 bed units we manage in Oklahoma City I've seen that the well-maintained units thrive.  

Just look at Evolve's income estimate for a few houses, it is scary.

I totally agree with @Stephen E. we tried two companies in NMB before going with Evolve for our bookings and basically  working with our cleaner, who has been amazing.

STR laws always seem to be evolving and changing, it seems like a full-time job just to stay up to date with the laws.
