Basically wanting to pay two years of Real Estate taxes in 2025 and deduct on 2025 Return when filed in 2026.

We pride ourselves in keeping the forums positive, helpful, and focused on real estate (please, no politics, religion, etc.).

Historically, real estate will appreciate over the long term.  

I felt I had a good head start since I was already a real estate agent and was very comfortable with finding comps and figuring out the ARV.

I have found there to be a real shortage of long-term rentals in Ludlow and the surrounding area.  

And while nothing is foolproof the most consistent method of finding good vendors is relying on OTHER real estate investors that have worked with those vendors. 

You will lose one of the best benefits of the real estate industry, appreciation.

And I also see many questions popping up about running a short term rental business, which to me is more of a business than an investment although it does involve an investment in real estate.
